| The "thin white duke" David Bowie held court on January 7th at CSU's Convocation Center. His incredible band ripped through hit after hit from every stage of his four decade (so far!) career. Highlights included Life On Mars? beautifuly sung the same week that NASA landed the first Mars Lander Spirit. Under Pressure featured duet vocals with bassist Gail Ann Dorsey and the Cleveland audience...on every note! Not to be forgotten was the Velvet Underground cover of White Light/White Heat Mr. Bowie brought out his band for a encore, the setlist coming from the top of his head! Rumours are flying about a David Bowie Marathon in the summer of 2004 on 88.3FM - any takers?! (1) Red light bathes the band during the improvised encore (!) ...
